Martin Luther King<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Yesterday Americans celebrated 50 years since the \u201cI Have a Dream Speech\u201d by Martin Luther King, which was actually spoken on 28th<\/sup> August 1963.<\/p>\n

Oratory is shown in Martin Luther King\u2019s natal chart by Ascendant in Gemini, Mercury its ruler on the Midheaven, and Mars (warriorship) in Gemini (through oratory).<\/p>\n

North Node close to the Ascendant often indicates one who is a leader, bringing a group of people into incarnation for a specific work.\u00a0 His karmic leadership role is also emphasized by a trine of the Sun to his North Node.<\/p>\n

Rosa Parks<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Rosa Parks may have been one of his Soul group, as she played a crucial role in the history of the civil rights movement.\u00a0 In 1955 she helped spark the movement which would become his cause, by refusing to give up her bus seat to a white person.\u00a0 Rosa\u2019s act is symbolized in her chart by Mercury (bus) exactly conjunct Uranus (unusual action) in Aquarius (the sign of the Rebel).\u00a0 On the day she changed history, Pluto was exactly sextile her natal Pluto, encouraging her to exercise her personal power.<\/p>\n

I Had a Dream Chart<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

In the chart of the speech, Mercury is exactly trine Pluto, showing a speech which is fundamentally deep in its expression and impact.\u00a0 This trine is bisected by the North Node, also lending karmic impact.\u00a0 The Sun conjuncts Mercury in Virgo, indicating clarity of thought. There\u2019s an aspect for every day this week, so you will have a lot to work with and won\u2019t be twiddling your thumbs.<\/p>\n

Mercury is opposing Neptune today, so you might be asking \u201cwhat is going on?\u201d.\u00a0 An aura of mystery may surround the day.\u00a0 All may be revealed by the middle of the week.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow there are twists in relationships, and strange feelings may be stirred up, with Venus opposing Uranus.<\/p>\n

A third opposition occurs on Tuesday (27th<\/sup>), in the shape of Sun opposite Neptune, so the early part of the week may have a theme of balancing opposing viewpoints, and possibly having to agree to differ.\u00a0 Sun opposite Neptune compounds the mystery and strangeness, so the plot thickens rather than thins.<\/p>\n

The murkiness is slightly relieved later in the day by a no-nonsense sextile between Mercury and Saturn, when some facts can be established, and some initiatory groundwork achieved\u2026<\/p>\n
