One famous Geminian teacher is Alice Bailey, in a wider sense than just the classroom. She was a prolific writer on theosophical teachings.

Martin Luther King, known for the power of his speeches, studied many subjects and taught philosophy in Atlanta. He had Gemini rising.

A teacher of the more conventional kind, Michael Marland, wrote a definitive guide to the subject, titled “The Craft of the Classroom: A Survival Guide to Classroom Management in the Secondary School”. I know at least one teacher who is indebted to his work. He had Chiron in Gemini, being his route to healing.

Another esoteric teacher, Chris Griscom, author of “Ecstasy is a New Frequency”, will be known to those familiar with my website and work, as she has been one of my great mentors. She is a double Gemini (i.e. with Sun and Ascendant in that sign), with in addition Uranus/Saturn and Mercury/Jupiter in that sign: a Gemini through and through.

Scientist

Science is primarily a province of the left brain, and as such comes under the Mercury-ruled sign of Gemini. There are other aspects, which especially in combination, cover different areas of science, for example:

Gemini and Aries: mechanics

Gemini and Virgo: scientific theory

Gemini and Scorpio: scientific research

Gemini and Aquarius: technology and engineering

Pisces: medical breakthroughs, stemming from imagination beyond thought (e.g. Einstein)

Famous Geminian scientists include: Francis Crick, Carl Linnaeus, Daniel Fahrenheit, Peter Higgs and Blaise Pascal

Also worthy of note, are: Helen Sharman scientist/astronaut

and Heston Blumenthal, whose scientific approach to cooking has earned him honorary degrees from various Universities. In addition, he has been made an honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Journalist

Sub Categories: Broadcaster, Reporter, Media, TV Presenter, Spin Doctors

Geminian News Anchors include: Mary Nightingale

Journalists include: Isobel Oakeshott, who was the political editor of The Sunday Times

TV Presenters include: Dale Winton

Spin Doctors include: Alistair Campbell

And an extra category, Information Whistleblower: Edward Snowden – remember him? But they say everyone has a book inside them (I certainly have), and here are some examples:

Val McDermid – A Scottish writer of the Crime genre, who started her working life as a Journalist. Val is also a double Gemini (Ascendant and Sun in that sign) plus having its ruler Mercury in that sign in the 1st House. The Crime leaning is due to Moon in Scorpio.

Colm Toibin –
