Happy Christmas<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

How do the aspects around Christmas strike your birthchart?\u00a0 These are Venus from Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces, then entering Capricorn.\u00a0 And at Noon on Christmas Day, the Moon at 5 degrees Pisces, which is in itself a symbol for the birth of baby Jesus.<\/p>\n

I describe the nuances for each sign, and also re-print the Christmas style for each sign, from last year.\u00a0 Whether it’s your Sun Sign, Ascendant or you’re spending the day\u00a0 in solitude, there is a separate reading for everybody:<\/p>\n

Aspects<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Neptune squared the Sun in the early hours, and you may have had unusual or spiritual experiences in the night as a consequence.\u00a0 This aspect may bring some impractical elements which create a wobble.\u00a0 You may hit a snag in the implementation of your plans, or see through the illusion of a project.\u00a0 A pet may have been behaving in a confused manner or strangely, the night before.\u00a0 But once you are through that looking glass, you may see how you can remedy things.\u00a0 It may require some refining of details or technique, for instance.<\/p>\n

Chiron also squares Jupiter today: that means an unusual conundrum may present itself, such as the challenging of your boundaries.\u00a0 Remind yourself that, with Chiron involved, the ultimate purpose is healing.<\/p>\n

This afternoon, the Sun enters Capricorn, which is the Winter Solstice.\u00a0 For many this will be a relief, and a sense of a new dawn, especially for those who suffer from seasonal affective disorder (S.A.D.).\u00a0 The Sun\u2019s entry into Capricorn is a return to practicality, after the aspirational month of Sagittarius.\u00a0 It is a time to look at the general structure and order of things, and your relationship with authority and the institutions which govern our society.\u00a0 Reflection and introspection may form a part of your experience, while welcoming the return of the light.<\/p>\n

Wednesday (24th<\/sup>), Christmas Eve, is the most important day for aspects this week, appearing to chase off all aspects for the rest of the week!\u00a0 I have based my blog today on its aspects.<\/p>\n

First, Neptune squares Venus.\u00a0 We could do without last minute relationship wrangles before the big day, such as paranoia about who may have upset who, and will so-and-so get on with the other one\u2026Will they even turn up?\u00a0 But maybe dealing with these elements just before the big day, such as sounding people out, may be helpful.<\/p>\n

Use it to get your house in order, and secure loopholes before Christmas Day.\u00a0 You may experience sensitivity around a relationship issue.\u00a0 Sift out any paranoia, iron out artistic flaws, and financial insecurities. That may assist a smoother passage\u2026and tread softly on the day,\u00a0lest you tread on your own dreams, or anyone else\u2019s.\u00a0 Be alert to any scams or deceptions, or negative examples of A.I., of which there seem to be many these days.<\/p>\n

The last astrological feature of the week, also on Christmas Eve, is the entry of Venus into Capricorn.\u00a0 This may see people being more serious and measured in their interactions.\u00a0 Their expectations of others will be more realistic.\u00a0 Venus now needs to bring her skill in human relations into the workplace, into administration and public institutions, and into politics.\u00a0 The upside of Venus in Capricorn is more commitment and loyalty.\u00a0 The reassurances of loyalty may allay some of the pre-Christmas jitters caused by Venus square Neptune.\u00a0 The carefree Venus in Sagittarius gives way to a more sedate portrayal of love and affection, and the Arts.\u00a0 Thoughts may turn to the care of the elderly within the family circle, and may possibly focus on the issue of social care, one of the hotly debated topics of the day, which the government urgently needs to solve, in order to alleviate its impact on other hotly debated features which have been stuck. Maybe a Christmas Day speech may deal with some of the real preoccupations people are having.<\/p>\n
