Brand it like the Beckhams<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI remember his birth [Brooklyn\u2019s] being announced like a royal baby.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

It has been a tricky week for the Beckhams.\u00a0 Victoria and David\u2019s eldest son Brooklyn has thrown accusations about them, questioned his childhood, and said he does not want reconciliation.\u00a0 He has told the world that his mother upset himself and his bride on their wedding day.\u00a0 Subsequently, some supporters have come to the aid of Victoria and achieved a number 1 hit for a song she recorded way back in the year 2001 \u201cNot Such an Innocent Girl\u201d.\u00a0 David meanwhile made an unusual entrance at the Davos economic forum in Switzerland, in a week where everything was going on with the aspects (see last week\u2019s blog) and Donald Trump continued to shock the world.\u00a0 David\u2019s advice at Davos and perceived wisdom was to say that children have to learn from their own mistakes.<\/p>\n

I haven\u2019t written about the Beckhams before on my blog.\u00a0 So, today, I will take a simple look at the four people at the heart of this sad tale: Victoria, David, Brooklyn and Nicola, and see what their current transits are saying.\u00a0 It may or may not throw some light on the matter.<\/p>\n

Victoria Beckham<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Vital Statistics: <\/em><\/strong>Sun in Aries, Ascendant in Cancer, Moon in Aquarius<\/em><\/p>\n

Self-orientated, Family-loving, likes to look Cool<\/p>\n

Birth Chart<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Victoria has a lot going for her in her natal chart.\u00a0 Her Part of Fortune is situated in her 11th<\/sup> House (of Friendships and Groups), and so her Path to Fortune was through the band \u201cThe Spice Girls\u201d.\u00a0 She has the Warrior Archetype (Sun closely sextile Mars, Moon closely trine Mars, and from past life warriorship Mars on the South Node).\u00a0 Success in society, singing and fashion career is shown in Venus conjunct Jupiter on her Midheaven (career).\u00a0 Her possible controlling nature would be shown in a close conjunction between her Mars and Saturn.<\/p>\n

David Beckham<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Vital Statistics: <\/em><\/strong>Sun in Taurus, Ascendant in Taurus, Moon in Capricorn<\/em><\/p>\n

Practical in mind and body, and Pragmatic<\/p>\n

Birth Chart<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

David has a very solid chart, with the Sun, Mercury and Ascendant in Taurus, and lives up to the money-making reputation of Taurus (he has helped her in the past with her fashion business).\u00a0 His career in Football is shown by Mars in his 10th<\/sup> House of Career.\u00a0 But his life purpose may be as a Teacher: witness Mercury closely conjunct the Ascendant and loosely conjunct the South Node.\u00a0 That would include football coaching.\u00a0 His life in the public eye is shown by his Moon conjunct the Midheaven and trine the Mercury\/Ascendant, across his 8th<\/sup>\/9th<\/sup> House cusp.\u00a0 He would be intensely involved with his children, with Pluto in the 5th<\/sup> House, but Pluto could include ruptures such as that involving Brooklyn now.<\/p>\n

Synastry<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They\u2019ve had a long and fairly solid marriage, so let\u2019s look at their Synastry:<\/p>\n

Victoria\u2019s Sun is conjunct David\u2019s Chiron, often seen in close family bonds, especially where one is seen as the healer of the other.\u00a0 Her Moon is exactly conjunct his 10th<\/sup> House cusp of Status.\u00a0 Her Mercury is conjunct his Jupiter, so they can assist each other in business ventures (that includes \u201cbrands\u201d).\u00a0 Her Venus is exactly sextile his Sun (a love match).\u00a0 Her Mars trines his Uranus (that\u2019s the \u201cspark\u201d!).\u00a0 And his Venus is sextile her Chiron (another healing interaspect).<\/p>\n

Brooklyn Beckham<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Vital Statistics: <\/em><\/strong>Sun in Pisces, Ascendant in Libra, Moon in Libra<\/em><\/p>\n

Sensitive, People-Pleasing by habit, and emotionally prioritizing relationship<\/p>\n

Birth Chart<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

So into their lives in 1999 came their first-born son, Brooklyn.\u00a0 The Moon in his chart is exactly opposite his natal Venus, signifying problems between the women in his life.\u00a0 That goes to the heart of this present problem!\u00a0 He has Mercury conjunct Jupiter, so he\u2019s a bright lad.\u00a0 The sensitivity of Sun in Pisces is compounded by Mercury closely sextile Neptune.\u00a0 He has his own power, though, with Jupiter trine Pluto.\u00a0 He has Neptune in his 4th<\/sup> House of Home and Family, which shows complexities, and enigmas in that sphere of life.\u00a0 His Ascendant and Moon ruler Venus is in his 7th<\/sup> House of Marriage, highlighting the importance of that bond.\u00a0 Pisces is the photographer\u2019s sign.<\/p>\n

Synastry with his parents<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

With Victoria:<\/em><\/strong> You would expect a lack of harmony between his chart and his mother\u2019s, given recent developments.\u00a0 But in fact there is a great deal of harmony in their interaspects, for example his Sun in Pisces is conjunct her Venus.\u00a0 A possible conclusion might be that the turnaround happened when he met Nicola and bonded with his future wife, and that became a stronger influence.\u00a0 Interestingly there is a tricky aspect connected with her Part of Fortune, in that his Uranus (Inner Rebel) is square to that point in her chart, catching her off guard in a possible estrangement.<\/p>\n

With David: <\/em><\/strong>Brooklyn\u2019s Mars is exactly opposite David\u2019s Sun, and David\u2019s Mars is conjunct Brooklyn\u2019s Sun, indicating some strife between them.\u00a0 But there are some good connections between them, such as their Suns being sextile.\u00a0 Both Victoria and David have Pluto conjunct Brooklyn\u2019s Ascendant, which could make him feel they are always \u201con his case\u201d.<\/p>\n

Nicola Peltz<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Vital Statistics: <\/em><\/strong>Sun in Capricorn, Moon in Aries or Taurus, without birth time<\/em><\/p>\n

Status-conscious, emotionally not so complicated<\/p>\n

Birth Chart<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Nicola comes from a wealthy family, her father Nelson being a self-made billionaire.\u00a0 Nicola\u2019s Sun in Capricorn can be quite status-conscious, and ambitious.\u00a0 She is an actress.\u00a0 Her Sun conjunct Neptune gives her some affinity with Brooklyn\u2019s Sun in Pisces, and she is likely to be very emotional.\u00a0 She has the complexity of Uranus conjunct Neptune present in many charts in the early 1990s, though she was born when the two planets were separating in 1995.\u00a0 She, like Brooklyn, has power play in her chart, in her case through Jupiter conjunct<\/em> Pluto.<\/p>\n

Synastry between Brooklyn and Nicola<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be good communication between them, with his Mercury trine her Venus (and she has her Venus sextile her natal Mercury).\u00a0 Her Mercury is conjunct his Neptune, and sextile his Jupiter.\u00a0 His Mars is exactly conjunct her North Node (possibly \u201cus against the world\u201d mentality).<\/p>\n

Synastry between Nicola and Victoria<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Victoria\u2019s Sun is square Nicola\u2019s Uranus, which can be a sign of estrangement.\u00a0 And there seems to be very little affinity or connection between their charts.<\/p>\n

Synastry between Nicola and David<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

David\u2019s Sun is on Nicola\u2019s South Node, which could indicate a power struggle going back to previous lives.\u00a0 But there is some harmony there, as his Mercury forms a Grand Trine with her Uranus and Chiron.\u00a0 Her Mars squares his Nodal Axis (some karmic strife) but her Venus is conjunct his North Node (so they are likely to have known each other in a past life in a closer capacity).<\/p>\n

Transits this week<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

For Victoria<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Neptune is square to her natal Saturn, forcing her to relinquish control.\u00a0 Her consolation prize of her song going to No. 1 in the charts may be down to a healing Chiron transit trine her natal North Node, a karmic gift.\u00a0 Saturn also squares her natal Mars (harsh). Mars squared her Sun, which can be very triggering.\u00a0 And the North Node was on her natal Venus (a personal karmic reckoning, which can go either way).<\/p>\n

For David<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Uranus is exactly on David\u2019s Ascendant at the moment, which can bring a shock, though steady Taurus as he is he looked quite calm walking into Davos\u2026And Saturn sextile his natal Ascendant working with Uranus, helped stabilization.\u00a0 Entering his 11th<\/sup> House of groups, symbolically expressed his entry into the company at Davos.\u00a0 Mars was square to his Midheaven, a relatively minor threat to \u201cBrand Beckham\u201d.\u00a0 The karmic element in his transits was the Nodal Axis squaring his natal Neptune, causing a scandal of sorts, and intrigue.<\/p>\n

For Brooklyn<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Pluto on Brooklyn\u2019s Neptune, cathartic for him, at the end of his 4th<\/sup> House of Home and Family\u00a0 and sextile his natal Chiron.\u00a0 It\u2019s as if he has consulted an Astrologer as to the correct time to come out with it.\u00a0 A catharsis for him.<\/p>\n

For Nicola<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Pluto is on her natal Mercury, the hurt goes deep for her, which is certainly what Brooklyn was trying to convey.\u00a0 However, Neptune trine her Pluto may enable her to release some of that hurt.\u00a0 At the same time, Chiron squaring<\/em> her Neptune may raise new traumas in the matter.\u00a0 There may be consequences\u2026Jupiter is opposite her natal Sun, she may be pleased on some level, too.\u00a0 The North Node is trine her North Node, so she may be regarding this as a karmic win.<\/p>\n

A few interesting astrological nuggets there\u2026but what a sad family story.<\/p>\n

\u201cShakespeare knew about tragedy: how we love to see the great brought to their knees by the suddenly spinning wheel of fortune and, indeed, \u201cHow sharper than a serpent\u2019s tooth it is to have a thankless child\u201d [King Lear].<\/em><\/p>\n

Aspects<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I have only three aspects for you today.\u00a0 My goodness, they were all used up last week.\u00a0 And what an eventful week it proved to be\u2026<\/p>\n

Tomorrow (26th<\/sup>) Neptune will re-enter Aries, preparing to make its momentous conjunction with Saturn at 0 degrees Aries (see my first blog of the year).<\/p>\n

As I wrote last March:<\/p>\n

\u201cNeptune in Aries is almost the antithesis of Neptune in Pisces in many ways: it represents the self-awareness leading to self-assertion rather than victimhood.\u00a0 It represents the \u201cenough is enough\u201d attitude of the populace.\u00a0 There are signs that the extreme right wing and authoritarian governments are starting to experience a backlash, e.g. in Turkey.\u00a0 So Neptune in Aries is about divesting yourself from illusion and moving towards personal emancipation.\u00a0 We are at the beginning of this particular journey.\u201d\u00a0 It is a spiritual shift.<\/p>\n

Incidentally, that blog was written when Donald Trump first made his sensational announcement, which occasioned my first blog on the subject:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need Greenland.\u00a0 And the world needs us to have Greenland, including Denmark.\u00a0 Denmark\u00a0<\/em>has to have us have [sic]\u00a0Greenland.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

~ Donald Trump<\/p>\n

Here we are, with Neptune\u2019s re-entry, and it is still a sore point.\u00a0 We may hear more, this week.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday (27th<\/sup>) we have one of the most volatile conjunctions of the year, if not the<\/em> most\u2026Mars conjuncts Pluto.\u00a0 Yesterday, as it approached, we heard of further bloodshed on the streets of Minneapolis, and more ruthless battering of Ukraine from Russian forces.\u00a0 Man\u2019s inhumanity to man, indeed.\u00a0 This conjunction It occurs once every two years.\u00a0 Keep out of mischief, and try to work out your strategies for peace in advance; organize a group meditation if possible.\u00a0 As you know, I am a great advocate for meditation, and nowhere or time is it more suitable than during a Mars\/Pluto event.<\/p>\n

The third aspect of the week is another conjunction, and it takes place on Thursday (29th<\/sup>) in the shape of Mercury conjunct Venus.\u00a0 This may spark a sunburst of ideas to be communicated, discussed, and start the ball rolling towards making practical use of what comes to you.\u00a0 This conjunction is ideal for socializing, conversation, artistic (get yourself a box of watercolours) or literary endeavours, or negotiations.\u00a0 Your communications will have an artistic flair, so it’s a good time to get creative.\u00a0 I associate this conjunction with Cafe culture thrives and conversation flowing ~~~<\/p>\n
