They tend to move a little quieter, a little softer, aware of how much they don\u2019t yet know. \u201c<\/p>\n<p>~ Cathy Cookson<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>Aspects<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">First, a word about last week\u2019s astrology:<\/span>\u00a0 Uranus rules technology, and A.I.\u00a0 Last week, exactly on Uranus turning Retrograde, the issue of A.I. suddenly loomed larger than ever, being accused of having the capability of threatening the future of humanity in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>I had written:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong>It&#8217;s time for a real re-think, re-evaluation, reflection and revision.\u00a0 Uranus of course is also the planet of rebellion and revolution.\u00a0 You need to review the way you do things, and the way you think about things, and find new types of solutions suited to future working.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Experts are now urging a slowing down of the research and accelerating capabilities for this new existential threat.\u00a0 In the decades since nuclear warfare was developed, the biggest fear was who may press the nuclear button, deliberately, accidentally or through a fit of madness.<\/p>\n<p>It seems now we have another, similarly powerful threat.\u00a0 So Uranus going Retrograde is exactly the right time to slow it down, and for those in the industry and governments to have a re-think, which is what retrogrades are about.\u00a0 It remains to be seen how much progress we will make on this reflection and in resulting action by the time Uranus goes Direct again next February (2027).<\/p>\n<p>On the BBC News website today:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis past week, between talk of growth and potential returns, tech titans found themselves addressing the abrupt resignation of Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Coxon, a 27-year-old who worked at OpenAI before joining its chief rival Anthropic, said on Tuesday that people building artificial intelligence (AI) believed the technology could destroy humanity.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>They are &#8220;gambling with our lives&#8221;, he said, &#8220;these will soon be superhuman systems that can hack anything&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is &gt;10% within the next decade,&#8221; a team lead at Anthropic, Evan Hubinger, posted on X.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Anthropic&#8217;s boss, Dario Amodei, has come under fire for saying AI technology could wipe out half of entry-level white-collar jobs and will \u2018test who we are as a species\u2019. \u201c<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Our aspects this week begin with a very relevant trine between Mercury and Uranus tomorrow (Monday 14<sup>th<\/sup>).\u00a0 This affords the chance for some sensible, constructive, and even brilliant conversation about the very topic of A.I. and technology.\u00a0 It can can inspire high functioning minds, intuition and good ideas (especially for Geminians).\u00a0 \u00a0Uranus will add extra spice to your plans, and documentation.\u00a0 Computers and technology should be on sparkling form and assist your expression.\u00a0 You may spring pleasant surprises.\u00a0 Writing projects may also flow.<\/p>\n<p>In the evening, the Sun will be sextile with Mars.\u00a0 This will bring opportunity for resolution within the area of conflict, especially in issues of force or even violence.\u00a0 Energy is injected into our affairs for the evening, if not the day.\u00a0 It should hopefully allow you to press on with active projects, and dynamically get your jobs done.\u00a0 Energywise, you might get a \u201csecond wind\u201d later in the day.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday (15<sup>th<\/sup>) brings a more challenging energy, with a square between Pluto and Venus.\u00a0 This may affect Taureans and Librans more than most.\u00a0 It\u2019s a test for relationships and\/or money on that day.\u00a0 You may be wrestling with such questions.\u00a0 There may be deeper levels to unravel in relationships.\u00a0 Deep feeling issues may be preying on your mind.\u00a0 These will require some psychological soul-searching for a true interpretation, and may spur on honest-as-you-can-be interpersonal communication.<\/p>\n<p>The most important feature of this week is a sextile between Neptune and Pluto on Wednesday (16<sup>th<\/sup>).\u00a0 This is a deep structural coalescence, both materially and psychologically.\u00a0 Look at the big picture in the world, and in your own life, and society.\u00a0 On a personal level, it gives you a basic understanding and harmony with the culture you are living in, perhaps only on an unconscious level.\u00a0 But this is a sound psychological and in-depth basis for your psyche and life structure, if you can tune into it.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday (17<sup>th<\/sup>) Chiron Retrograde dips back into Aries, where it had been for several years.\u00a0 There may be unfinished business to attend to, i\u2019s to dot and t\u2019s to cross.\u00a0 Perhaps some refined spiritual healing issues to perfect.<\/p>\n<p>A further challenge awaits on Friday (18<sup>th<\/sup>) in the shape of Saturn opposing Mercury.
