Aspects for the week beginning 25 October 2026
Celebrity Traitors – Series 2 – Part 2
Celebrity Traitors series 2 has proved just as enthralling as series 1, and we have lost some celebrities we had grown fond of such as Hannah Fry and Miranda Hart. Now their numbers have been virtually halved, from 21 to 10.
As before, I will look four more contestants, but reiterate that with the series having started filming in May, and is not in real time, unlike Strictly, it is not possible to make any firm prognostications. But the characters alone always prove fascinating, if only in the matching of their public and private personas. Again, I have chosen two men, and two women
Leigh-Anne Pinnock
Leigh-Anne is a singer/songwriter, who made her name as part of the successful girl band Little Mix. She was born in High Wycombe.
Her Sun is exactly conjunct Mercury in Libra, so she has a good head on her shoulders. Despite some suspicion thrown at her, she has managed to stay in the game to this point. Her Sun is exactly square Uranus, so she has quite the Inner Rebel! Venus conjunct Jupiter means that she is very sociable. She has two planets unaspected, Mars and Saturn, so two facets of her psychology not necessarily integrated into her personality. But she has Jupiter trine Uranus, and is therefore one of three out of these four who have the Inner Entrepreneur Archetype. Uranus conjunct Neptune means she can accommodate complexity, a feature of people born in her year of 1991. Her Neptune is exactly conjunct the North Node in Capricorn so she can be inspirational, and probably has a huge fan base.
She is a successful advocate for racial issues.
In the contest, She has been responsible for one of the hilarious moments in this series, inviting a “dance exercise” alongside Miranda Hart. Unfortunately, it cast suspicion on her as a possible traitor, as it was surmised that it may have been a ploy for “murder in plain sight”. But it was one of the opportunities for Miranda to show her comedic sportsmanship!
James Acaster
Comedian James Acaster is my favourite, who I would like to win – Miranda would have been a close second! I have long admired his comedy, which derives from his personality. We are blessed to have so many comedians in this year’s line-up. In contrast with the slapstick comedy of Sagittarian Miranda Hart…as a Capricornian, an element of his style of comedy is a deadpan, and understated, quality. Apparently, his wording and delivery is carefully planned – that is so Capricornian!
Interestingly, James has renounced his religion of birth Christianity, and some of his material is about losing his faith. That too can be a Capricornian/Saturnian tendency – for example, Michael Stipe, who sang “Losing my Religion” is also a January Capricornian.
His astrological comedy credentials lie in a conjunction between his Sun and Jupiter. That is in addition to the North Node trine his Jupiter, making comedy part of his karmic mission. His Venus/Mars conjunction contributes to his charisma. Saturn sits exactly on his South Node, suggesting that he developed the deadpan persona in previous lives, possibly when honing his art as a jester!
He is a friend of Ed Gamble, who hosts the spin-off show to the Traitors.
Joanne McNally
Joanne is the only one of these four for whom I have a birth time, that being partly because she was born in Dublin. In England, it has not been a practice to record birth times in the past. She is another comedian. Her comedy credentials are part of her Inner Entrepreneur conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus, which is exact. She also has her Moon exactly square Jupiter/Uranus.
Her brand of comedy has been described (by Miranda Sawyer of the Guardian) as “bawdy, brazen” and “genuine”. That might describe her Sun in Taurus, and also by virtue of its conjunction with Mars. Mercury closely conjunct Mars gives rise to the Critic Archetype, and the blunt speech. Witness how she attacked Miranda Hart who voice a suspicion about her, which possibly led to Miranda’s demise. How she confuses people…that is down to Neptune closely opposite her Venus.
Joanne may be the next contestant to leave the castle, as the cliffhanger they presented us with at the end of last week was a tie for banishment between Joanne and Sharon Rooney, with King Kenny able to cast a double vote to take it either way. We are, as usual on a Friday night, on tenterhooks.
King Kenny
Kenny is a delightful character I haven’t come across before his appearance on Traitors. He hails from that new category of career, the Content Creator (whatever that is, my inner old fogey remarks). He hails from the complex Sun sign of Pisces, so it may make it difficult to pinpoint what makes him special, but I will try! He is certainly playing an excellent game in the Castle. He was born in Watford (my old stomping ground). He managed to convince his fellow contestants he was a faithful, both when he was a faithful, and after he was recruited as a traitor! He has charisma primarily through his exact sextile between the Sun/Venus in Pisces and Neptune the ruler of Pisces (Neptune rules glamour). He also has Mars trine Neptune. Neptunian glamour is also involved in his karmic mission, for that planet is exactly trine his North Node. He is also a great Strategist (an archetype created by Saturn trine Pluto). He was a boxer, but gave it up earlier this year after breaking a rib. Like Leigh-Anne he has Jupiter conjunct Uranus, so is the third of this foursome to have the Entrepreneur Archetype. Traitor Maya Jama was pleased to recruit him as a traitor, as he has an aura of success and a desire to be a traitor, whereas James Acaster though performing well, does not have his heart in the traitorous path.
Aspects
At breakfast-time this morning, Venus was Stationary, prior to going Retrograde into Libra (from Scorpio). There is unfinished business for us from her more recent sojourn in Libra, where is was very much at home. If you have design projects in art or music, they could be in need of some revision now. The dotting of i’s and crossing of t’s come to mind. At the very least, polish up your vocal skills.
Tomorrow (26th) we have two fairly dramatic influences to contend with, so buckle up. In the early hours of the morning we have a Full Moon in Taurus, so the previous night’s proceedings may be playing on your mind as you sleep, and in your dreams. Watch what you watch the night before – I have had some weird dreams after watching Traitors!
Your emotions may be stirred and you may be motivated to try to resolve in an issue you care passionately about (Taurus and the Sun in opposite sign Scorpio are Fixed signs). If you are of an artistic bent, you can plough this feeling into your creativity in the course of the day. That may be therapeutic for you.
Another reason to engage in therapeutic art or music arises around midday, with a square between Pluto and the Sun which is a deep soul-searching aspect. It is the sort of aspect which can be looked upon as a gamechanger, or watershed. So if you are in integrity, you may be able to influence what side the coin lands on. Continue to seek positive avenues for yourself, and remove yourself from drama. If painting is your artform, the following colours would express this square. You can use monochrome (black and white) or even chalk and charcoal. The colours for Pluto would be Indigo, and Purple. Pluto is in Aquarius, so you can add Magenta.
If circumstances are challenging, do remember that Pluto is the planet of regeneration.
Wednesday (28th) finds us with an opposition between Venus and Chiron, a different sort of challenge. It may bring up issues which need healing, especially for relationships. It may be a case of “Now I am nice and settled, what is next for me to deal with?”. The issues may be connected with one’s inner female, or one’s relationships. It may be an artistic conundrum, especially if you are still working on such projects from earlier in the week.
At the end of the week, on Friday (30th), we have a square between Mercury and Mars. Be careful not to overdo things as you may be slightly incident-prone, partly through carelessness or complacency. Another possible hazard of this square is argumentativeness and verbal conflict. A careless word could have consequences. You might be channelling Joanne McNally’s “Critic Archetype” and mirroring her blunt speech, especially if she is the one staying in the contest.
It looks like a slightly fractious week, so maintain your spiritual practices, such as meditation, nature walking, Tai Chi, Qijong, Yoga and channelling, and keep yourself centred. And be creative, that will help, too.
The week in bullet points:
- Today – design projects
- Tomorrow – emotional high tide; deep soul-serching; regeneration
- Wednesday – the need to heal relationships
- Friday – the inner and outer critic
