Aspects for the week beginning 25 January 2026
Brand it like the Beckhams
“I remember his birth [Brooklyn’s] being announced like a royal baby.”
~ Frank Skinner
It has been a tricky week for the Beckhams. Victoria and David’s eldest son Brooklyn has thrown accusations about them, questioned his childhood, and said he does not want reconciliation. He has told the world that his mother upset himself and his bride on their wedding day. Subsequently, some supporters have come to the aid of Victoria and achieved a number 1 hit for a song she recorded way back in the year 2001 “Not Such an Innocent Girl”. David meanwhile made an unusual entrance at the Davos economic forum in Switzerland, in a week where everything was going on with the aspects (see last week’s blog) and Donald Trump continued to shock the world. David’s advice at Davos and perceived wisdom was to say that children have to learn from their own mistakes.
I haven’t written about the Beckhams before on my blog. So, today, I will take a simple look at the four people at the heart of this sad tale: Victoria, David, Brooklyn and Nicola, and see what their current transits are saying. It may or may not throw some light on the matter.
Victoria Beckham
Vital Statistics: Sun in Aries, Ascendant in Cancer, Moon in Aquarius
Self-orientated, Family-loving, likes to look Cool
Birth Chart
Victoria has a lot going for her in her natal chart. Her Part of Fortune is situated in her 11th House (of Friendships and Groups), and so her Path to Fortune was through the band “The Spice Girls”. She has the Warrior Archetype (Sun closely sextile Mars, Moon closely trine Mars, and from past life warriorship Mars on the South Node). Success in society, singing and fashion career is shown in Venus conjunct Jupiter on her Midheaven (career). Her possible controlling nature would be shown in a close conjunction between her Mars and Saturn.
David Beckham
Vital Statistics: Sun in Taurus, Ascendant in Taurus, Moon in Capricorn
Practical in mind and body, and Pragmatic
Birth Chart
David has a very solid chart, with the Sun, Mercury and Ascendant in Taurus, and lives up to the money-making reputation of Taurus (he has helped her in the past with her fashion business). His career in Football is shown by Mars in his 10th House of Career. But his life purpose may be as a Teacher: witness Mercury closely conjunct the Ascendant and loosely conjunct the South Node. That would include football coaching. His life in the public eye is shown by his Moon conjunct the Midheaven and trine the Mercury/Ascendant, across his 8th/9th House cusp. He would be intensely involved with his children, with Pluto in the 5th House, but Pluto could include ruptures such as that involving Brooklyn now.
Synastry
They’ve had a long and fairly solid marriage, so let’s look at their Synastry:
Victoria’s Sun is conjunct David’s Chiron, often seen in close family bonds, especially where one is seen as the healer of the other. Her Moon is exactly conjunct his 10th House cusp of Status. Her Mercury is conjunct his Jupiter, so they can assist each other in business ventures (that includes “brands”). Her Venus is exactly sextile his Sun (a love match). Her Mars trines his Uranus (that’s the “spark”!). And his Venus is sextile her Chiron (another healing interaspect).
Brooklyn Beckham
Vital Statistics: Sun in Pisces, Ascendant in Libra, Moon in Libra
Sensitive, People-Pleasing by habit, and emotionally prioritizing relationship
Birth Chart
So into their lives in 1999 came their first-born son, Brooklyn. The Moon in his chart is exactly opposite his natal Venus, signifying problems between the women in his life. That goes to the heart of this present problem! He has Mercury conjunct Jupiter, so he’s a bright lad. The sensitivity of Sun in Pisces is compounded by Mercury closely sextile Neptune. He has his own power, though, with Jupiter trine Pluto. He has Neptune in his 4th House of Home and Family, which shows complexities, and enigmas in that sphere of life. His Ascendant and Moon ruler Venus is in his 7th House of Marriage, highlighting the importance of that bond. Pisces is the photographer’s sign.
Synastry with his parents
With Victoria: You would expect a lack of harmony between his chart and his mother’s, given recent developments. But in fact there is a great deal of harmony in their interaspects, for example his Sun in Pisces is conjunct her Venus. A possible conclusion might be that the turnaround happened when he met Nicola and bonded with his future wife, and that became a stronger influence. Interestingly there is a tricky aspect connected with her Part of Fortune, in that his Uranus (Inner Rebel) is square to that point in her chart, catching her off guard in a possible estrangement.
With David: Brooklyn’s Mars is exactly opposite David’s Sun, and David’s Mars is conjunct Brooklyn’s Sun, indicating some strife between them. But there are some good connections between them, such as their Suns being sextile. Both Victoria and David have Pluto conjunct Brooklyn’s Ascendant, which could make him feel they are always “on his case”.
Nicola Peltz
Vital Statistics: Sun in Capricorn, Moon in Aries or Taurus, without birth time
Status-conscious, emotionally not so complicated
Birth Chart
Nicola comes from a wealthy family, her father Nelson being a self-made billionaire. Nicola’s Sun in Capricorn can be quite status-conscious, and ambitious. She is an actress. Her Sun conjunct Neptune gives her some affinity with Brooklyn’s Sun in Pisces, and she is likely to be very emotional. She has the complexity of Uranus conjunct Neptune present in many charts in the early 1990s, though she was born when the two planets were separating in 1995. She, like Brooklyn, has power play in her chart, in her case through Jupiter conjunct Pluto.
Synastry between Brooklyn and Nicola
There will be good communication between them, with his Mercury trine her Venus (and she has her Venus sextile her natal Mercury). Her Mercury is conjunct his Neptune, and sextile his Jupiter. His Mars is exactly conjunct her North Node (possibly “us against the world” mentality).
Synastry between Nicola and Victoria
Victoria’s Sun is square Nicola’s Uranus, which can be a sign of estrangement. And there seems to be very little affinity or connection between their charts.
Synastry between Nicola and David
David’s Sun is on Nicola’s South Node, which could indicate a power struggle going back to previous lives. But there is some harmony there, as his Mercury forms a Grand Trine with her Uranus and Chiron. Her Mars squares his Nodal Axis (some karmic strife) but her Venus is conjunct his North Node (so they are likely to have known each other in a past life in a closer capacity).
Transits this week
For Victoria
Neptune is square to her natal Saturn, forcing her to relinquish control. Her consolation prize of her song going to No. 1 in the charts may be down to a healing Chiron transit trine her natal North Node, a karmic gift. Saturn also squares her natal Mars (harsh). Mars squared her Sun, which can be very triggering. And the North Node was on her natal Venus (a personal karmic reckoning, which can go either way).
For David
Uranus is exactly on David’s Ascendant at the moment, which can bring a shock, though steady Taurus as he is he looked quite calm walking into Davos…And Saturn sextile his natal Ascendant working with Uranus, helped stabilization. Entering his 11th House of groups, symbolically expressed his entry into the company at Davos. Mars was square to his Midheaven, a relatively minor threat to “Brand Beckham”. The karmic element in his transits was the Nodal Axis squaring his natal Neptune, causing a scandal of sorts, and intrigue.
For Brooklyn
Pluto on Brooklyn’s Neptune, cathartic for him, at the end of his 4th House of Home and Family and sextile his natal Chiron. It’s as if he has consulted an Astrologer as to the correct time to come out with it. A catharsis for him.
For Nicola
Pluto is on her natal Mercury, the hurt goes deep for her, which is certainly what Brooklyn was trying to convey. However, Neptune trine her Pluto may enable her to release some of that hurt. At the same time, Chiron squaring her Neptune may raise new traumas in the matter. There may be consequences…Jupiter is opposite her natal Sun, she may be pleased on some level, too. The North Node is trine her North Node, so she may be regarding this as a karmic win.
A few interesting astrological nuggets there…but what a sad family story.
“Shakespeare knew about tragedy: how we love to see the great brought to their knees by the suddenly spinning wheel of fortune and, indeed, “How sharper than a serpent’s tooth it is to have a thankless child” [King Lear].
~ Frank Skinner
Aspects
I have only three aspects for you today. My goodness, they were all used up last week. And what an eventful week it proved to be…
Tomorrow (26th) Neptune will re-enter Aries, preparing to make its momentous conjunction with Saturn at 0 degrees Aries (see my first blog of the year).
As I wrote last March:
“Neptune in Aries is almost the antithesis of Neptune in Pisces in many ways: it represents the self-awareness leading to self-assertion rather than victimhood. It represents the “enough is enough” attitude of the populace. There are signs that the extreme right wing and authoritarian governments are starting to experience a backlash, e.g. in Turkey. So Neptune in Aries is about divesting yourself from illusion and moving towards personal emancipation. We are at the beginning of this particular journey.” It is a spiritual shift.
Incidentally, that blog was written when Donald Trump first made his sensational announcement, which occasioned my first blog on the subject:
“We need Greenland. And the world needs us to have Greenland, including Denmark. Denmark has to have us have [sic] Greenland.”
~ Donald Trump
Here we are, with Neptune’s re-entry, and it is still a sore point. We may hear more, this week.
On Tuesday (27th) we have one of the most volatile conjunctions of the year, if not the most…Mars conjuncts Pluto. Yesterday, as it approached, we heard of further bloodshed on the streets of Minneapolis, and more ruthless battering of Ukraine from Russian forces. Man’s inhumanity to man, indeed. This conjunction It occurs once every two years. Keep out of mischief, and try to work out your strategies for peace in advance; organize a group meditation if possible. As you know, I am a great advocate for meditation, and nowhere or time is it more suitable than during a Mars/Pluto event.
The third aspect of the week is another conjunction, and it takes place on Thursday (29th) in the shape of Mercury conjunct Venus. This may spark a sunburst of ideas to be communicated, discussed, and start the ball rolling towards making practical use of what comes to you. This conjunction is ideal for socializing, conversation, artistic (get yourself a box of watercolours) or literary endeavours, or negotiations. Your communications will have an artistic flair, so it’s a good time to get creative. I associate this conjunction with Cafe culture thrives and conversation flowing ~~~
The week in bullet points:
- Tomorrow – grounded spirituality
- Tuesday – stay away from contention
- Thursday – good conversation

Hi Lana
I’m not much of a follower of the Beckhams, but impossible to avoid hearing about the family problems. Thanks for an interesting background. No reconciliation then.
I like the way you have widened the aspects to cover last week’s Davos outpouring, and continuing into this week. It gets me away from my own struggles. The wider world much more interesting .
Love Sarah

Dear Lana,
With the second week of the Australian Open now underway it feels like the draw has really opened up and the momentum of some players is fascinating to watch. Tomorrow Casper Ruud will meet Ben Shelton in a Fourth Round clash at Melbourne Park. Ruud has battled well through his matches, showing resilience and consistency on hard courts that has earned him a spot in the last sixteen this year. Shelton too has looked sharp, using his big left-handed serve and aggressive baseline game to move into the second week with confidence. Many of the current previews place Shelton as a slight favourite based on his form this week, yet Ruud’s experience and tactical discipline should not be underestimated, and older head-to-head meetings show Ruud with the edge in past encounters.
I would love to hear how you see the energetic dynamic between these two playing out from your perspective. Do the transits suggest Shelton’s momentum will continue, or might Ruud’s steadiness and match experience tip the balance in a long hard-court battle?
Love,
Ladina

Dear Sarah
Thanks very much for your comment.
I am not a follower of the Beckhams either, as I am not a fashionista nor a football fan! But as I had never written a blog about them, I thought this was the time!
I hope there is as little strife as possible this week, despite the high-strife Mars-Pluto conjunction.
Stay out of contention,
Love
Lana

Dear Ladina
Thanks very much for your comment.
Sadly, by the time I came to see your comment, it was too late to do anything about it and embark on research.
I was fascinated by your analysis, and I see that Shelton won.
I guess the time zones were not conducive to catch me during working hours, but let me know if there is another opportunity.
Enjoy viewing,
Love

Dear Lana,
Thank you so much for your kind reply. Yes, the time zones can be tricky sometimes, but I truly appreciate your interest.
Since Shelton has now come through that match, I was wondering whether you might see another opportunity here. He is facing Jannik Sinner next, who has looked absolutely outstanding so far in this tournament. From a purely tennis perspective it seems like a huge challenge, but I would be very curious to hear your view on whether Shelton might still have a window of opportunity against such a dominant opponent, or whether the current energies clearly favour Sinner.
One additional observation after watching the recent matches. Shelton looked very strong and confident, both physically and mentally. His presence on court seemed solid and stable. Sinner, on the other hand, gave a slightly mixed impression to me. While his overall level remains extremely high, there were moments where he did not appear entirely comfortable, and the heat in particular seemed to affect him. During longer rallies his intensity looked harder to sustain at times.
That contrast made me wonder whether this matchup could be more open than it appears on paper, especially given the conditions. I would be very interested to hear whether you see any indications that these factors might play a role.
Love,
Ladina

Dear Ladina
The time zone beat me again! I would have had to get up in the middle of the night, or skip breakfast!
Are you in Australia? Again, I am fascinated by the depth of your analysis.
Of course now we know that Sinner won and faces Djokovic.
I will take a look at their current transits:
For Sinner:
Sinner has Chiron currently sextile his natal Uranus in 9th House (the power of surprise is his, especially in a far-off location)
And
Chiron currently trine his natal Chiron (it is time for healing for him)
(bolstering his natal Chiron-Uranus sextile)
And furthermore,
Chiron is trine his natal Sun (some deep healing going on)
Thus forming a Grand Trine between transiting Chiron, natal Sun and natal Chiron. (an auspicious sign)
He may be wrestling with a long term deep seated health issue, but is currently in a position to heal it.
Retrograde Jupiter is transiting his natal Venus in his 1st House (personal satisfaction)
For Djokovic:
By my usual exacting method of reviewing transits, he has nothing significant going on.
That may mean the planets are not supportive of him at this time. There is a chance though that it gives him a free hand, to go wild!
I know Sinner has beaten Djokovic the last few times they have played, but, like you, I have heard that Sinner has some issues at the moment.
Honestly, it looks good for Sinner.

Dear Lana,
Thank you again for your thoughtful message. Before anything else, just to clarify one point. I am not in Australia. I am following the tournament from here, which unfortunately means far too many nights with very little sleep. As much as I love tennis, these night sessions are really taking their toll, and I will probably be relieved once the tournament is over.
That said, I am still completely absorbed. I spent some time reading expert previews of the final, and it is interesting how strongly they converge on one central theme. Less about peak level, more about recovery, stamina, and who can physically and mentally go again after such brutal semifinals. Djokovic’s win over Sinner is widely described as extraordinary, but also potentially very costly. Many analysts doubt whether, at his age, he can back that up once more under Melbourne conditions. Alcaraz, despite his own struggles and cramps, is generally seen as having more reserves and a slightly better recovery outlook.
What struck me is how closely this tennis narrative mirrors your reading. The idea of consolidation and healing on one side, and relative planetary quiet on the other, feels oddly aligned with the broader story of renewal versus sheer mastery and will.
And this brings me to what I am genuinely most curious about. Given everything you have written so far, I would be fascinated to hear your own final prognosis for the match. Not just who you think might win, but how you sense this moment unfolding. Your perspective adds a layer that goes far beyond standard tennis analysis, and I find myself really eager to know how you see it.
Even if it costs me yet another short night of sleep.
Warm regards,
Philippe

Dear Ladina
Thank you for your respectful message, and interesting thoughts and observations. As the match between Carlos and Novak takes place at 8.30 GMT tomorrow morning, I had better get my skates on, or I will miss the boat again!
My conclusions from the Sinner-Djokovic match is that Djokovic did feel truly freed to go wild by having a lack of transits. I have come across this before. And for Sinner, maybe he got distracted by the inner healing journey.
I am taking to my archives:
2022
Carlos Alcaraz
“Looking at his chart for the first time, he has half his planets in the Fixed signs, and is therefore strong willed and stubborn. He is a Taurean (a sign of great stamina), with his Sun caught in a T-square with an opposition between Mars and Jupiter. He has plenty of energy and enthusiasm, but may struggle to balance them sometimes. Saturn trine Uranus gives him strength and some adaptability to counteract the Fixity.”
2023
“Since then, I have acquired a birth time for him, giving him an Aquarian Ascendant, with Jupiter exactly opposite his Ascendant.”
Also 2023 – contest between Novak and Carlos, their synastry:
“They are destined karmic players! Novak’s Sun is exactly conjunct Carlos’ North Node of karma.
Novak’s Jupiter trine’s Carlos’ Pluto. Novak enhances Carlos’ power, but at the same time Carlos brings more power to Novak’s luck.
But Novak’s Jupiter squares Carlos’s Chiron, which is stronger in healing for Carlos.
Then come three heavyweight interaspects:
Novak’s Saturn conjoins Carlos’ Pluto: Carlos will be the unseating of Djokovic, but not necessarily today. We are looking at the longterm, Carlos being the future.
Novak’s Uranus opposes Carlos’s Saturn: Novak can upset Carlos, and break his composure.
Last, but really not least, Novak’s Pluto (arguably the most powerful of all) squares Carlos’s Mars. Carlos may have the physical strength and energy, but Djokovic has power that can go beyond this.
So to tomorrow’s transits:
For Carlos:
I hear his journey hasn’t been plain sailing.
Uranus on his I.C. – the unexpected element will be important (that could go either way)
Chiron sextile his natal Moon – he will need total emotional control, and may be able to pull that off
Saturn trine his Midheaven – it could be a stabilizing and defining moment in his career
A Mars Return close to his Ascendant – he will be fully fired up!
For Novak:
I wrote this week:
For Djokovic:
“By my usual exacting method of reviewing transits, he has nothing significant going on.
That may mean the planets are not supportive of him at this time. There is a chance though that it gives him a free hand, to go wild!”
Can I add anything, just a little time along…?
Neptune is sextile with his Sun – it is a spiritual thing for him, whichever way it goes. It will inform him about his own spirit.
Jupiter square his natal Jupiter – he could be over-stretching himself
Mars square his natal Pluto – he will be in danger, but would he be able to pull back when it is sensible to do so?
Mars close to his North Node – he feels a sense of karma and destiny around his Inner Warrior
Taking all this in, I would favour Carlos, and may be wrong again!
The sleepless nights will soon be over!
All the best,
Lana
